is Atlantic Canada’s foremost sea kayaking operation and 2017
is our 37th year of offering coastal paddling excursions. We
have something for every interest and skill level, whether you are
a beginner or an expert. We offer Day Trips from our centre in Tangier, and Extended Tours throughout the region and Instruction at
our kayak school. We can also Rent equipment
for those who wish to do it on their own and can welcome you in our Paddler’s Retreat B&B. Check out what we have to offer

During these 3/5 day tours we will journey among this exceptional island group as we interpret the unique biology, geology and human history of the area. This is a sea kayaking tour for both beginners and families,
as well as the inquisitive expert.
Upcoming Dates: July 15-17, 27-29/31
During these 1 and 2 day courses we offer you an introduction [both theoretical and practical] to the sport of sea kayaking. We will cover the necessary equipment, the basic paddling strokes, rescue techniques, navigation and weather considerations. Paddle Canada certification is offered.

DR. SCOTT CUNNINGHAM, biologist and writer (author:
Sea Kayaking in Nova Scotia) and numerous
magazine Articles, has paddled coastal
waters extensively and circumnavigated Nova Scotia in 1980. He has
also kayaked in Europe, and is a BCU Coach 4 (Sea) and a Paddle Canada
Senior Instructor Trainer.
GAYLE WILSON has a degree in Fine Arts and has
worked at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She is an experienced
sea kayaker and both a BCU Instructor and a Paddle Canada Instructor
